Meet The Sand to Snow Rug — an adventure-inspired recycled cotton throw rug created in collaboration with our good mates Chelsea and James from Sand to Snow and designed exclusively for Salty Aura.
This one was quite literally designed on the road. Chelsea hand-drew the design while travelling, taking inspiration from the places they passed along the way — the beautiful tones of red dirt through the Australian outback, earthy landscapes and patterns found in nature.
The result is a rug that feels right at home on an Australian road trip. Woven from 100% recycled cotton, its warm, earthy colours and detailed pattern were made for people who would rather be somewhere outdoors, with the car packed and no real rush to get home.
Its reversible woven design features contrasting colours on the reverse, giving you two different looks in one.
The Sand to Snow Rug was made to come along for the ride. Throw it over the couch when you're home, use it as a picnic rug or beach blanket when you're out for the day, or roll it up and chuck it in the back of the car as a camping blanket for weekends away, van life, caravanning and road trips around Australia.
Salty Aura has been designing our signature woven throw rugs in Australia since 2018, creating colourful, practical pieces made to move between home and the outdoors.
