At Why Dive + Surf, we’re all about living life by the ocean.

Based in Whyalla at the gateway to South Australia’s wild Eyre Peninsula and West Coast, we’ve built our name on creating unforgettable underwater adventures – from the world-famous Giant Australian Cuttlefish migration to exploring pristine coastal reefs.


Now, we’ve expanded our love for the ocean above and below the surface. Alongside our premium dive tours, equipment hire, and expert advice, you’ll now find a surf-inspired retail store packed with leading surf brands, clothing, boards, and accessories.

If through visiting our store you enter the Countries and waters along the Eyre Peninsula — Barngarla (Port Augusta to Port Lincoln), Nauo (Port Lincoln to Port Kenny), Wirangu (Elliston to Haslam), and the Mirning, Kokatha, Yalata, and Maralinga Tjarutja peoples (Haslam to the Great Australian Bight).
